More from the fair

Tonight the fair was much more crowded than the rest of the week. I was happy with what I shot tonight, but wanted to process them a little differently. The images of the rides have a SX-70 poleroid action applied to them to give a subtle creamy look as well as a vignette. I was going for a semi holga look.
The holga intent is more evident in the elephant images. I felt that these did better in a square format, and although I processed them in color, I like the earthy feel of the sepia.

Thanks for looking! I'll post more tomorrow.

Laura,

Really nice photos. The way you've shot the animals gives them a lot of character. The holga-eque treatment was also very successful. The night shots are very vibrant and alive. Everything you've shot at the fair has a unique perspective.

Like we talked about before - you are very talented photographer and can definitely produce intriguing shots - now it's a question of figuring out a way to challenge yourself and sustain your interest! Good luck at the Good Shepard.
