I can't believe its almost midterms! I'm going to continue working on my idea, and hopefully won't get too far behind. For now here is my cricket image. After hearing your feedback I think I need to see if I can shoot everything together. I have more crickets coming, and I'm going to work on some different lighting. Additional feedback is always welcome!

However, the crickets on the side of the lunch box are too Photoshop-ee.
I know, I plan to fix them, but I had to show something at the crit.
It's the small things in this photo that work. The "creeping" cricket on the top of box and the one perching on the sandwich are quite interesting...and of course, the dead one, though unintentional, adds that extra little touch of fun. I like the amount of color in this image and the light crickets against the bright colors of the lunch box.
